Steven Spielberg conquistou nesta terça-feira (10/1) as principais honras, incluindo o prêmio de melhor filme de drama, na cerimônia de entrega do Globo de Ouro, por seu filme Os Fabelmans.

Spielberg, que também levou para casa o prêmio de melhor diretor, agradeceu à sua família, incluindo sua falecida mãe.
Os Fabelmans aborda o casamento conturbado dos pais de Spielberg, o bullying anti-semita e os primeiros esforços do diretor para produzir filmes com orçamento zero com seus amigos adolescentes.
"Todo mundo me vê como uma história de sucesso, e todos veem todos nós da forma como nos percebem com base em como obtêm as informações", disse o cineasta, 76 anos. "Mas ninguém realmente sabe quem somos até termos coragem suficiente de dizer a todos quem somos."
Spielberg destacou que filmes como E.T. e Contatos Imediatos de Terceiro Grau usaram elementos de sua vida real, mas que ele nunca havia tido coragem de enfrentar essa história até agora.
Celebridades
Astros de Hollywood compareceram em peso à primeira grande premiação do ano. Todos os olhos estavam voltados para as celebridades, e muitas delas compareceram, incluindo Rihanna e Brad Pitt.
Austin Butler, calçando os sapatos de camurça azul de Elvis Presley para Elvis, ganhou o prêmio de melhor ator de drama.
"Você era um ícone e um rebelde, e eu te amo muito", declarou Butler ao cantor lendário, em um discurso emocionado, no qual elogiou a família de Presley por seu apoio.
Eddie Murphy recebeu um prêmio pelo conjunto da obra, enquanto Angela Bassett foi escolhida melhor atriz coadjuvante de filme, pelo blockbuster da Marvel Pantera Negra: Wakanda para Sempre.
Outros ganhadores
O outro grande prêmio na categoria filmes, o de melhor comédia ou musical, foi para Os Banshees de Inisherin, tragicomédia sobre uma amizade rompida em uma ilha irlandesa remota, que terminou a noite com o maior número de prêmios de cinema.
Inisherin também rendeu a Colin Farrell o prêmio de melhor ator de comédia, aumentando sua expectativa para o Oscar, e ao roteirista e diretor Martin McDonagh o de melhor roteiro.
Apesar de ter se saído mal nas bilheterias, o filme venceu os dois maiores sucessos comerciais do ano passado - o filme de ficção científica de James Cameron Avatar: o Caminho da Água e Top Gun: Maverick - na disputa pelo último prêmio da noite.
